About Me

Right then, first of all, hello, and thank you for visiting. My name is Oliver, and what you can expect from me is a showcase of any project that I am working on, as well as reviews for the various shows / comics / video games / movies that I love, or, y'know, just generic blog posts about the crap I've been up to in my day to day life.

I suppose I best let you know a bit about me then, eh? Where do I start? I'm always terrible at writing about myself. Hmm. Well, I'm currently spending the majority of my time building an art portfolio consisting of digital artwork and 3D models. I'm aiming to gain a career in the gaming industry as a graphical artist. I don't have a specific field that I'm hoping for, concept art, asset modelling, anything is fine, really. I'd just love to make games, and have people enjoy the, hopefully, beautiful graphics.

What's next? Interests? Okay, interests.
I'm a huge fan of video games, reading, TV shows, movies, and music. Pretty standard, really. The Godfather is one of the greatest movies of all time (along with The Big Lebowski), and LOST one of the greatest TV shows.
I'm hugely into Tolkien's lore. I have spent so much time reading about his world, I am totally engrossed in Middle-Earth (and Dwarves are the best).
As you would imagine from the fact that I want to work as a graphical artist, I enjoy spending a lot of time drawing and 3D modelling. It's safe to say that art is my passion.
